The OU Planter Project

Back in the summer of 2024 I was cleaning up the back deck. I had stacked a bunch of used wood from a tear down from previous year on the deck and decided to do something with it.  I got an inspiration from watching a YouTube video by Matthew Peech, where he had designed a cool looking planter using only 3 fence pickets. The reclaimed wood I was using wasn't fence pickets but the dimensions were the same so it was a perfect plan for this.  So I purchased his plan and was off on a new project.

We Made 5 Beautiful Planters

While I was preparing to start this project my garage buddy Patti came up to see what I was doing.  She said, "Hey Cool! I want some too. " and decided to help with the project.  So I had enough used wood to make up 4 planters, 2 each. After we finished making them, we got a request for one from Anna's mother who we all call granny.  At this point we had used all of the wood that I had and then went and bought 3 pickets for granny's planter. All in total it was a fun project and we made some really nice planters.
